Basically, Global DiVX Player is a Multimedia Player used as a player primarily for DiVX Movies, but technically for almost any video format including as an Avi Player.
GDivX Zenith Player 1.1 includes a simple fullscreen interface, hotkeys controls, a codec wizard and support for Real Video, and more.
GDiVX Zenith is a complete rewrite of GDiVX from the groundup in a new language and should be faster and more reliable on most platforms. It also features brightness/contrast controls, MUCH improved subtitles, ability to select codecs from the player and more!
The Global DiVX Player uses MUCH LESS CPU Resources than Windows Media Player (and other media and avi player programs), so if DiVX Movies or Avi movies play skippily on your computer, or have trouble staying in sync, give Global DiVX a shot. This isnt going to work miracles, but it might help those of you who are right on the borderline, especially K6/K6-2 based machines. Also, one of the coolest looking DiVX Player, Avi Player and player of other movie format capable with subtitles support :)
Global DiVX Player supports Winamp style keys (Z,X,C,V,B), Media Player style keys (Ctrl p,Space, etc) plus a few extras, such as Ctrl A to toggle always on top mode, Ctrl G to seek to any location in the movie, and pressing the keys r,f will rewind/fast forward respectively, and t,g will go to the start/end of the movie respectively.
